"The old way of doing business is ripe and ready to be transformed, starting with one woman at a time—with technology as our catalyst. In an era calling for the empowerment of women, it’s time to move money through the hands of female entrepreneurs, challenge our outdated systems and foster a new economic and leadership paradigm."

Dr. Newhouse holds a Ph.D. and has conducted groundbreaking interdisciplinary research into how entrepreneurial women balance business growth with personal fulfillment and family responsibilities. In collaboration with esteemed institutions like Harvard and MIT, her work has produced the "Entrepreneur Immunity Model", which guides women in the resilience and transformative learning processes to navigate and excel in the dual challenges of modern day entrepreneurship and family life. This model specifically addresses how to mitigate burnout, promoting long-term success and well-being in both entrepreneurial and personal spheres. Felicia’s work has tracked the role of women leaders in how small businesses have emerged as a cornerstone of the U.S. economy, now contributing 44% of economic activity. With a significant recent uptick in women leaving the corporate sector—the highest rate in history—and 53% reporting burnout, the importance of supporting women-owned ventures is clearer than ever. Since 2019, the number of women-owned businesses has increased by an impressive 4.5 times, outpacing the growth of businesses started by men. This surge underscores the critical role women play in revitalizing local economies and fostering community resilience.

Business to Human bridges Dr. Newhouse’s extensive research with advanced AI technology to champion not only strategic business growth but also personal development and well-being. Built upon a four-part framework that includes therapeutic support, advanced technology, a strategic business curriculum, and a community of like-minded women, Business to Human addresses the tech tools and skills gaps for women entrepreneurs to build businesses that not only succeed financially but also contribute positively to society.

A respected thought leader and sought-after speaker, Dr. Newhouse influences the fields of AI and entrepreneurship. She champions a balanced approach that emphasizes human-centered innovation, sustainable practices, and supportive communities for women leaders. As we enter an era dominated by AI and machines, Business to Human is transforming the small business economy with a timely and holistic model to integrate advanced technology in a way that strengthens rather than replaces human connections.

In her free time, Dr. Felicia Newhouse cherishes moments with her husband, an MIT astrophysicist, and their two children on their farm in central MA, where they produce honey and organic produce. She enjoys plenty of time in nature, and serves her community as lay minister at her local Unitarian Universalist church.

"Through my research and work experience with women entrepreneurs worldwide, I've grown to appreciate that we are all here to share a unique gift with the world, to help heal and transform it."
